Create custom metadata fields in the Veracode Platform

You can create your own custom field labels to add specific metadata fields to your application profile. You can delete the fields at any time.

You can create up to five custom fields per user account and a maximum of 25 custom fields per application profile.

Before you begin:

You must have the Administrator role to create custom field labels. If you rename custom fields associated with the Veracode Integration for Jira or custom integration code, you must also update the associated custom field in the Veracode Integration for Jira or custom integration code.

To complete this task:

  1. Go to Admin > Customize > Application Custom Fields.
  2. Enter a label in the custom fields box.
  3. If you want to create more than 10 custom fields, select the Add custom field link to display an additional field.
  4. Click Save.

To see the custom fields you created, select Edit Profile in the left navigation menu of the Application page.
