Access Veracode

Access to Veracode requires a Veracode Platform account. Your local Veracode Administrator or your Veracode Account Manager can create the account and send you an account activation email.

Activate Your Veracode Platform account​

You can log in to the Veracode Platform after an Administrator creates an account for you.

Before you begin:

  • A user with the Administrator role in the Veracode Platform has created a Veracode account associated with your email address.
  • Your web browser meets the minimum requirements.

After the Administrator creates your account, you receive a welcome email from Veracode.

To complete this task:

  1. Click Activate Account in the Veracode welcome email.

    This button opens your browser to the Veracode welcome page.

    note

    The activation button is only valid for seven days. If you do not activate your account before it expires, an Administrator in your organization must send another activation link.

  2. Enter and repeat the password you want to use for your Veracode Platform account.

  3. Select a security question, which you need to answer when you request a password reset.

  4. Enter the answer to your security question.

  5. Click Create My Account. The sign in page opens.

  6. Enter your username and password. Your username is most likely your email address. It appears in the Veracode welcome email.

  7. Click Log in.

  8. If your account requires multifactor authentication, select Setup to configure MFA described under Optional Multifactor Authentication.

  9. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the authentication.

  10. Read the Veracode usage guidelines and select the I have read and agree to the Usage Guidelines checkbox.

  11. Click Save.

Sign in to the Veracode Platform​

You can sign in to the Veracode Platform from any supported web browser using your Veracode account.

Before you begin:

To complete this task:

  1. Go to the Veracode Platform using the appropriate domain for your region.
  2. Enter your username and password. Your username is most likely your email address.
  3. Click Log in.
  4. If you use multifactor authentication, enter the additional authentication code and select Verify.

Results:

Most pages in the Veracode Platform time out after 15 minutes. Veracode terminates any session on the Veracode Platform exceeding 24 hours.
